IFA Corporate Ltd has roots which stretch back to 1st September 1990 when it’s directors, Robin Sainty and Steve Barrett, decided to leave the security of senior positions with a large national brokerage to establish their own business offering highly personalised financial advice, primarily to business owners. As a result of the success of this project it became necessary to develop the service on offer to make advice available to the wider public, and to add a general insurance arm to deal with the other needs of the firm’s clients, such as home and car insurance.
In June 2007 the company was awarded the coveted status of Chartered Financial Planners by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). This title, which is regarded as the gold standard for financial advisers, as the following extract from the CII’s website explains:
"Chartered firms must ensure staff members acquire and retain the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver the highest quality advice. They must also work in an ethical manner that places clients’ interests at the heart of the advice they give. With fewer than 300 firms of ‘Chartered Financial Planners’, it remains an exclusive and valuable distinction. It carries weight with other professional firms and distinguishes planners from their competitors and peers." - September 2011
Standards are not simply checked before the status is awarded, but annually thereafter, so when you deal with a Chartered firm you know that you can do so with confidence.

We work on the basis of fees or commission and will always quote costs before undertaking work. In addition, we always offer a free initial consultation.
